Terms of Service — Stonk Arena

1. What Stonk Arena is

Stonk Arena is a free stock market simulation game. All trading uses virtual capital. No real money is deposited, invested or at risk. Nothing in the app constitutes investment advice; prices are shown for game purposes only.

2. Accounts

• You need an account with a valid email address (or Google sign-in) to participate.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain an advantage is prohibited.
• Player names are unique and must not be offensive or impersonate others.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

3. The monthly competition

• Every player starts each calendar month with €10,000 in virtual capital.
• A maximum of 30% of your portfolio may be invested in a single stock.
• A minimum of 5 trades in the month is required to qualify for the prize.
• The player with the highest verified return at the end of the month wins the cash prize (currently €100), as announced in the app.
• Portfolios reset automatically at the start of each month.

4. Prize payout

• The prize is paid by SEPA bank transfer. The winner must provide a valid IBAN within 14 days of being contacted; otherwise the prize may pass to the runner-up.
• Payouts are made within 14 days of confirmation.

5. Fair play & verification

• All trades are executed and validated server-side. Trade history is stored and may be reviewed.
• The organiser verifies the winning account before payout. Accounts showing manipulation, exploitation of technical errors, multi-accounting or any other unfair advantage are excluded from the competition and forfeit any prize.
• The organiser's decision regarding winners, exclusions and payouts is final and binding.

6. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, exploit or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

7. Availability & liability

Stonk Arena is provided "as is", free of charge. We do our best to keep the service and price data accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
